"I had an aftermarket 5 gallon gas tank installed on my 2005
vrsce,Iam very pleased with the workmanship. what stands
out the most is the professionalism and friendliness of the
employees,not just in the service dept but the entire establishment.I feel very fortunate that i was directed to your establishment by a co-worker,short story but i feel it needs mentioning.
One year ago i purchased the aftermarket tank on line,cost
$500.00. I brought the kit to my local h-d dealership and was
told it could be installed by their v-rod mechanic. my v-rod was in the shop for 3 weeks,when i picked it up I was told the tank would not work,that too many alterations would have
to done,particularly to the frame. The dealership felt the liability issues were too high and therefore would not attempt
the installation. another h-d dealership in the upstate would
not research the kit and declined on the basis that they never
heard of such a kit. You can imagine the dilema I felt,$500.00
down the drain,one year later on a whim i spoke with dan in the service dept. he was not familiar with the kit and referred
it to your v-rod mechanic. I was told he would call me that following monday which he did. what impressed me was he
went on the internet,found the product,pulled up the installation instructions,8 pages,and told me he felt he could install it which he did.

"I would like to say that my experience at Carolina Harley Davidson was great. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I took the Riders Edge Course first before I decided to make the purchase of the Sportster 1200 and the course was fantastic. Amy and Dennis where great and their instruction made me feel much more at ease with the decision to ride on the highways. They where nothing short of awesome! During the purchase of the bike Vince and Tim answered all my questions accurately and made sure that any concerns I had where addressed. The deal I got on the bike was great along with the Service Departments help installing the accessories. Everything was done perfectly and I’m very pleased. Lee helped me with the financial end of the purchase and was very professional and knowledgeable. All the sales associates where very helpful in helping me pick out the correct riding gear along with offering knowledgeable advise. "My brother came in from Dallas, TX and he is an experienced Harley rider and ex-Harley owner. I decided to call the dealership about renting two bikes for a short trip to the Blowing Rock area. Dan in your rental department was outstanding! I came up and looked at your rental inventory and picked out two bikes for our trip. We came in on Sunday and pickup the bikes, helments, and rainsuits. Clean first class 2009 bikes. When we returned we were running late and I called Dan and he actually waited on us to return that evening. I ended up buying a used 2009 Road King, but I have been purchasing accessories from your dealership . Dan is the biggest reason I purchased a Harley, great customer service and customer experience! "I purchased my Dyna Glide new in 1998 at your old shop. I was talking to one of your delightful salespeople, Pammy, and told her I bought my bike when Carolina Harley was a real bike shop, before it was transformed into a boutique. Pammy found the term humorous, and said she'd never heard it put that way. I explained that it's becoming very difficult, these days, to find parts for motorcycles, but there are thousands of panties and t shirts to choose from. It's just a funny, tongue-in-cheek rant I've been on for a few months, after it took H.D. three weeks to produce a shift rod for my bike. But all is well, and I received fantastic service from Miss Pammy, she was very upbeat, funny, and VERY accommodating! And as a final note, I actually purchased some H.D. panties, which she wrapped, and the whole experience cost me less than a hundred dollars! Now, THAT is a miracle! LOL Keep on laughing, Pammy! Jim"

"I bought a used 2003 V-Rod from a friend of mine in May 2008. It only had 735 miles on it (what a waste). I started having some fuel problems with it earlier this year.
Carolina Harley Davidson was recommended to be by a local mechanic in my hometown.
When service looked into the problem, they discovered a problem with the fuel pump flange.
i was looking at an $800-$900 bill. Chris in service looked into the issue deeper and found a directive had been issued from Harley Davidson regarding this problem but it had long since expired.
He (Chris) discussed this issue with Laurie (she handles warranty issues) who agreed to fix the problem for me at no cost (this really made my day - Hell this made my week).!!!
This made me a customer for life! That's why on August 03, 2009

"i have a 1200cc sporter my wife got me a year ago,it is a 2007 ,but with all the new parts i have got from u it looks like a brand new bike...we was very happy to find all my parts at a good price...i am making my bike like a theme bike & u aways have my parts right there & so when i get something new a little at a time i no it is there....at a fair price on my parts ..me and my grandson love just going up there all most every weekend he is just 6 and he loves bikes he is the one that come up with the SKULLS THEME BIKE well i guess me & zack well see u soon....P.S. "I was in town for business and stopped in to the dealership to look around. While I was there looking around I ran into one of the instructors for the rider training there. I believe her name was Amy. She was more than willing to answer all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. "My 2008 Softail Custom had a serious issue with the numbered custom paint job. I want to commend Tim and Laurie for their passion in making sure the bike was repainted under warranty. They even gave me another set of paint to ride until mine was fixed to everyone's satisfaction. All the service associates were courteous and understanding in getting the bike back to original quality. I also want to thank the district manager for coming to Gastonia on an unscheduled visit and assisting Laurie in coming to my defence on this issue. Laurie will fight for her customers. I really got to know most of the sales associates now and they seem to be very prideful in their work and make each vist enjoyable.

"I went shopping for my first Harley Davidson knowing not much more about them than they were pretty and that i had always wanted one.I walked in finding a large selection of both new and used motorcycles to choose from.I was greeted by Dan; he helped me pick out one that was perfect for a first time Harley purchaser like me.I found Dan to be both very helpful and knowledgeable; without being pushy.My financing was handled by Ron with the same friendliness and attention to detail. The 2002 Dyna wide glide I bought at Carolina Harley-Davidson, runs and looks new, and was very affordable.
